Introduction
“as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many. 15 Because I was confident of this, I wanted to visit you first so that you might benefit twice.” 2 Corinthians 1:11
We believe that through prayer, God will reveal and confirm His will to us, which is why your intercession and support are so important to our ministry. It is a blessing to have you with us and we invite you to involve others in the cause of the Gospel!
Throughout the month of January, we welcomed a group of seven students to our base, including Christians from Fortaleza, other regions of Brazil and the United States, who underwent our missions training. At the School, the group had daily classes focused on missions in their general context and also on the challenges of spreading the Gospel within the urban context.
In addition to the classes, the students attended art workshops and participated in evangelistic programs in our projects in needy communities. At the end of the School, they developed and presented individual projects with a vision of social assistance and evangelism.
The Alcance School has been taking place at our base since 2008 and has already trained over 500 Christians over the years. It focuses on providing an immersive experience in the missionary context and providing theoretical knowledge and practical tools for evangelization and social work.
The next edition will be from July 1st to August 2nd. Registration is available on our website.
Teen Camp
The camp lasted five days and twenty-five teens from the church in Fortaleza and Lagoa do Barro participated. They were very special days.
On the first night of the camp, we were sharing the Gospel and the Holy Spirit visited us and convinced hearts at that moment. One of the teens who initially did not believe in God confessed his faith and at that moment, accepted Jesus. On another day, a teen girl made the decision to accept Christ. The Holy Spirit acted in a profound and silent way, revealing the simplicity of the Kingdom of God.
Finally, four teens accepted Jesus and most of them were fired with a desire to know Him more. The camp also strengthened the bonds between us and the young people, promoting greater unity.
We are so grateful to God who provided everything, from beginning to end. A few days before the camp, we still lacked resources to invest in it, when we told a church about it, they mobilized and raised half of the total budget for the camp. Yes, God does it through His church! Glory to God for that.
Weeks of Consecration
In February and March, we had special weeks of consecration with our missionaries and volunteers at the headquarters (Fortaleza) and MFL Litoral (Caucaia). Consecration is a time when we stop some activities to gather collectively in worship, praise, prayer, fasting and ministry of the Word with the desire to strengthen ourselves in the Lord and seek His guidance personally and as a body.

Women's Service
We experienced a historic moment at Mission Focus Life! For the first time, we simultaneously gathered the women supported by our projects and church for an unforgettable night of praise and worship!
The event took place on International Women's Day, with the theme “The God who sees me”, inspired by the story of Hagar (Genesis 16). About 120 women were with us. God's presence was palpable and many took a step towards Jesus and the transformation of their lives!

Juazeiro do Norte
Since the last week of January, teams of missionaries from our headquarters have been making frequent trips to Juazeiro do Norte to strengthen the initial implementation work that is taking place. There, there have been regular Bible studies, Sunday services, and evangelism for children in a needy region called Três Marias. At the end of April, we held a women's service that spoke on the same theme as the one we did in Fortaleza, “The God Who Sees Me.”

Easter
An intense week marked our Easter with evangelistic programs in the communities of Baixada (Residencial Yolanda Queiróz), Rosalina, Lagoa do Opaia, and Lagoa do Barro. These were exciting moments filled with the presence of God, where people were touched by Jesus and the faith of many was rekindled by the greatest message of love in the world from our Savior.
In the church in Fortaleza, we had a service with a special program of theater, a presentation by children, Holy Communion, and lots of fellowship.
